I'm trying to finish a Keeley designed DS-1 mod. I had all the parts I needed except a 47 pf 50V cap. I usually get all my stuff from Small Bear but they don't have anything under 100 pf. Local electronics equipment store doesn't have any either. I've checked Digi-Key.com but apparently I would have to buy ?3000?.

Do any of you fine people happen to have one or know where I can get one?

put two 100 pf in series and you'll have a 50pf cap, which is likely close enough.

Did you try talking to Geek out Chiliwack way? He's a helpful & knowledgable fella.

Hard to believe that Active/Future out on Kingsway doesn't have any. For that matter, some of those cap assortments that The Source carries wouldn't have something close enough.

They do. Its a pretty bad collection if you need anything other than a crap-load of 10 pf ceramic caps. You could use 5 of them in parallel to get 50pf. It'll look rather Frankenstein-ed but it works.

Did you try mouser? (http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=SY6bF4iPirS4WHIvEZnk4g%3d%3d ) I find they are a little more lenient then Digi-key in their ordering rules.

I actually found one today! They only had ceramic disc. Hopefully that does the trick. This is the only value of cap that I've had a hard time finding.

The guy that helped me out said he didn't understand cap values and was a little confused so I'm going to test it before I install it.

Thanks for the advice and direction
