Pros and cons of the wraparound style!

I just got all me pieces to had my summer project done: refresh, repaire and upgrade my Tokai Love rock! I put a brand new Faber Kit as a stoptail piece and many pictures I'va saw are wraparound strings! Why did that mods? People tend to say that increase sustain but others say that will remove the "big sound" of the guitar! So what are you thinking of that you guys? Should I do it? Or it's just a matter of taste, more comfy etc.!
