I just got my DC727 back from Steve's yesterday, courtesy of my old highschool principal having gone to ottawa lol. oh and i got my les paul back from the "local" store as well.. so my babies are back!

anyway, she got a setup, the FR trem dealt with (tuning issues), restrung and had the pickups put in their proper positions.

sounds way better! plays phenomenally! holds tune! I am happy with it!

I was going to do a lot of LP and DC727 recording today, but my mic decided against the idea - which is odd, considering that it worked just fine at band practise thursday night..

now, on to some outdoor shots taken just today; 2 minutes before a 10-minute storm haha

Nice guitar..how does the blackouts sound with your JSX after the set up?

I find that they are a little too thick sounding (odd, considering they're meant for darker guitars and that one is alder/maple w/ an ebony fretboard), they definitely have good chunk for metal rhythm.

decent cleans as well, which is a plus.

hey Budda. Its Nick C off ss.org. hah. Dude, was that the Carvin that had a neck issue, with a major crack at the locking nut?? I really wanted that one to try and fix it. but regardless, its looking quite nice.

i wouldnt call it a major crack, and its not really an issue - the headstock broke and was professionally fixed.

twas ibzorange's, and ohio eric and JJ reeeeally wanted it (eric still does lol).

its problem-free, aside from the fact that i am NOT used to trems :P
