Hi, I just put Sperzel locking tuners on my guitar and the holes are pretty small. in fact I couldn't thread an Ernie Ball 0.42 in the low e string, while I could string the low e of a 0.09 DR set (don't remember the exact size).
I'm sure I couldn't fit a set of 0.10s or larger.
I know Fender uses Schaller locking tuners, do these accept 0.10s strings?

What kind of a guitar are they in? I put Sperzels in a Peavey Predator strat copy, and the headstock is thicker than a normal Fender one, rendering it more difficult to put the strings in--but as long as the locks are backed off all the way, it's still not a problem. And my guitar's set up with 10's.
I've got a Fender with the Schallers and 10's too, if you'd like comparison pics or something. The Schallers definitely fit them, but the Sperzels should too.

I have a set of Sperzel Trim Lok tuners on a Squier Stratocaster. The hole in the tuning post is high enough, but for the low E string, I couldn't fit it in. Maybe the lock wasn't off all the way.

My American Deluxe Strat comes with locking tuners (Fender locking tuners I think?) and I string it with 10-46 gauge strings without problems. I'm pretty sure it would take bigger gauges too, provided the nut slots are wide enough.
I recently equipped a friend's Tele with Sperzels and the strings ("10s") threaded through the posts just fine though I could tell the sixth string was nearly the size of the hole. They work great.
Peace, Mooh.
