Years ago (I'm old) when fender came out with their relic finishes, I didn't get it. Why pay more for a new guitar that looks old when you would pay more for an old guitar that looks new. Gibson followed suit with their Tom Murphy aged guitars and I presume sold enough of them to be worth their effort. Recently I got my dinosaur legs out of the tar pit and tried a Nash relic.
Bottom line: I liked it.
Has anyone had any real world experience with these guitars? Do they hold up on stage? Do they stay in tune? Would you recommend one?

Love it...are you a journalist/author/writer or just naturally good with words/ideas?

I rally like the looks of Nash guitars, but have never played one. There have been some sold on the forum here and one of the forum members sells them at his store in Montreal.

I had a chance to play a Nash S-62 last year for about ten minutes....totally unlike any new fender I've tried, but, If I remember, very much like a couple of older ('60s,'70s) models I played years ago. All reviews, press etc. say the same thing: spend many thousands of dollars for a late '50s/early'60s Strat or tele, or spend less than $2000 for a Nash. If that vintage feel, sound and style is what you're looking for, then the Nash is the way to go. Check out his comments on his website for some insite into what these guitars are all about.
