Intonation Suggestions for Wilkinson VS50II

Hello All,

Does anyone have any tips, tricks, suggestions for setting the intonation on a Wilkinson VS50II?

I loosen the screw securing the saddle, set the intonation, and then re-tighten the screw securing the saddle. The tightening of the screw moves the saddle towards the neck throwing off the intonation. I then start over ,this time after setting the intonation I move the saddle towards the bridge to compensate for the forward movement towards the neck when the screw securing the saddle is tightened.

Is there a better way to do this?
