two excellent guitars for sale

because of another pending purchase, I need to sell these two guitars:

#1 (SOLD)
My 2003 PRS singlecut gold top - in excellent shape (one ding on the top, one on the lower edge). I have a set of SD 59's in the guitar with the tones on switched pot (pull to cut one of the coils) for some excellent single coil tones as well. The guitar is set up and plays well. Original case, tags and PRS black leather strap with schaller strap locks. I bought it in 05' from the 12th fret for > $2600. (note picture still has the stock covered prs #7s, the guitar now has uncovered black bobbin 59's in the neck and bridge)

Asking $1500 OBO shipped anywhere in Canada. Will ship to the USA as well.

#2 (SOLD)
My Hamer Korina Artist - this guitar is a DREAM player, wide, fat neck simialr to the PRS above. The guitar is like mint condition, chambered Korina body, Korina neck and RW board. HAs a set of Lawrence mini HB's with the two volumes push/pull to coil cut. AMazing selection of tones on tap. I just traded my Orange amp for this a few months ago, and hate to see it go but I need the $$. Asking $1200 OBO shipped anywhere in Canada. FINAL PRICE DROP TO $950 SHIPPING INCLUDED!

According to the serial number, it is indeed a 2003 model. I had the same model and it was a crazy good guitar. You could do ZZ Top and AC/DC all day long with it.

Do you have any more pix of the PRS?

Here are some I just took. Man, what a great sounding guitar! Acoustically it rings, plays clean all over the neck and is set up perfect. The nut as I got it was a little low on the bottom two strings so it has been shimmed properly. The action is low, the guitar plays great!

The 59's are amazing sounding pickups. Much nicer than the hot #7s it came with. The taps give you cool choices (I especially like the neck HB with the bridge coil cut and the switch of course to both pups)

PS I am away as of this morning for a week holiday. Please be patient with any questrions as I may not have access to a computer for a few days.

In the top close up you can see the small ding between the bridge and the bridge pickup. It was there when I bought it. One very small dent (1/8") is on the lower edge but its almost not visable.

Answer, I need to come up with $6,200.00 asap. :)

I dont have many purchased guitars. Two I am keeping are from my wife, and the others I will try and sell. My home made guitars I keep :)

I would go down to $1050 shipped for the HAmer and $1300 shipped for the PRS... dont think I can go lower then that. Excellent prices.. on the market today they should sell for $1200 and $1600 respectively.

There is no wear, just two small dings. One you can see between the bridge and the bridge pickup and the other is smaller, on the edge near the bottom bought. Otherwise in excellent cosmetic shape, and ready to play set up for 10's.

Just to add a little fuel to the fire - a friend of mine has the exact same Hamer and he says it's his favourite out of all his "players". And he has lots. He uses it for everything from jazz to blues to heavy rock. A very versatile instrument. I'm just sayin'...:rockon2:
