I hear ya! I'll be shipping my AV62RI Strat in the morning-never could get to love it, but still tough to see it go.

In all seriousness, I probably would like first crack at it.

You'll like it. It's an extremely fast neck, the pickups have a little attitude but still have that classic alnico flavour. I think it will work well for the music you enjoy playing.
