For you jazz players, what kind of amp do you use ? I'm going more and more toward jazz and I'm starting to think of another amp. I now use a Traynor YCV 50 Blue (and hoping to try a YCS 50 as soon as I can put my hand on one). I do like the clean channel the Traynor gives with my Godin FlatFiveX or with my archtop Morris. But I would like to know what you jazzmen out there use for a round, mellow, velvet jazzy tone.

Depends on what kind of jazz you are playing

I also have a YCV50BLUE and I like the tone it gets for my little foray into stage band jazz, I'm quite happy with it.

Yes, there are about as many styles as there are amps

Cheers!

I'm still baffled with the new Roland Cubes....a Roland Cube 60 will give you a great clean sound at a modest price.

That's what I use and I really like it...

Any amp that is clean can be a good jazz amp. It's not that complicated.

Jazz itself is.
