Jaggery

I got my short scale SX bass 3/4 size.
Here is a short review from a bass newbie.
It came fast and well packed.
188 shipped by Fedex. I hope i will not have to pay any extra.
I had a fender oversized gigbag that fits perfectly.
My first impression was that it looked good, real good.
The fit and finish is really good. Honestly I cant find any issue with it yet.
The construction is great, frets are fine, no sharp ends, no pickup misalignment, the knobs and screws all look great.
The tint on the headstock and back of the neck looks very nice.
The action seems a bit high, even for a bass guitar.
I will spend some time later to fix that.
The bridge seems solid and the tuners seems nice and stable.
The nut seems cut properly for the stock strings.
not sure what gauge they are but i like them and probably will buy something of the same gauge.
I have not messed with the truss rod, hope it works properly.
I dont have an amp as yet, so I plugged into my tech 21 Tm30.
Didnt sound good at all.
Put it through my computer speakers which has a good sub woofer.
Very nice big tone. gets the sound I have in my head (in my room at least).
This has me thinking if I need a bass amp at all, but i will probably buy it in case I damage the speaker and all. I will be getting a peavey max 110 or 112 which ever sounds good when I try it.
Overall, this bass can be played all stock, no changes need, especially for a beginner.
I got what I wanted and expected.
Now, I need a proper tuner as E string sounds a bit funky and my built in tuner in the Zoom Ps-02 may not be picking it up properly.
So, without further ado, here is a pic..
