Looking for a Fender tube amp don't know to go with a blues jr, or just blues or hot rod , I just play in a room ( practice). I never gig , not good enough.

If you can grap an Old Fender Champ, jump on it! Probably the best pratice amp! It sounds really well and loud enough to make you wife goes crazy! ;)

Save yourself a little money and go with a Fender Pro. Jr.

It's a better sounding amp to boot.

Pro Jr and Blues jr are good amps, If you are looking to play heavier rock you will need to use an OD or distortion pedal as well. The Hot Rod deluxe is a good all around amp and can get you rock tones without a pedal. Some people trash the drive channels but I didn't think they were that bad. For the level it sounds like you are at, they would be fine IMHO.

Just picked up Fender Hot Rod Deluxe sounds great ,
used ,only 4 months old ,never giged, the foot switch was still in it's wrapping with manual. used only in his apt.
