Plug my Cube into Cabinet instead of header??

Is it alright if I plug in my Roland Cube into a cabinet speaker?? I'm used to using my Roland Cube and have grown accustomed to it. Is there anything I should be aware of if I get just the cabinet or should I just get the header too??

I could plug in a cab with my old cube 60, the new X series I'm not sure about. If it is an older model with a line out for a cab you should be OK to do it as long as you match the impedance. I think those cubes require a cabinet with a minimum impedance of 8 ohms. Check your owners manual and the back of the amp.
