I have been trying in vain to buy a little travel guitar from japan.I have even used an online translator to send emails.Still nothing.I'm looking for somebody who can read in japan so i can find out what the guitar costs and what its made of.

It lists at Y26,250 which is ~$250
Have a look here: http://www.acoustic-avenue.dyndns.info/products_acoustictraveler.html

But it doesn't look like they'll take online orders outside Japan -- looks like they're set up for you to pay through the kuro neko delivery service
You can fax/email ・FAX / TEL : 042-338-1816

Those online translators are pretty awful - you'd probably be better off in English.
Have you looked at the Soloette and the cheaper Aria versions though? YOu can get those here.
(Not in Japan, but used to live there)

to answer your other question,

top: spruce
side and back: mahogany
neck: nyatoh
fretboard and bridge: rosewood

Breedlove and Taylor makes some travel guitars.
and I agree; translators are horrible. if its in English, I'm sure they will have the interest to find someone to translate it.

Yes, ask Sneakypete. He'll be able to translate it for you.

But, you might want to Ishibashi first. Their service is top notch, their prices are reasonable, and the salesman who takes international orders speaks English.
