Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the help on the ohmage issue. I have another question for you all. I own an early seventies Traynor YBA-2B, It is the model with the 2 EL84 and the 2 12AX7's, and I was wondering what tonal options I have with this amp. I will take any advice and I am not looking for any specific tone I would just like to know what I options for different types of tone I have with this amp from performing mods or doing even smaller and more simple tasks. For reference, I use this amp for classic rock and a lot of blues and I use a Strat and an TS-9 with it. Can you guys help me out? Gimme all the info you can.

Thanks again!

I just tried something and, to anyone who reads this, I have a question. I took the back off of the amp so it is now an open back cab, but I want to know if it will hurt the speaker? Can anyone help me out?

No reason that open back will hurt the speaker, unless you pour a beer on it!
I sometimes run one of my Guitarmates open back.
By the way, personally, I don't see any reason to mod a YBA 2B. Mine is the 6V6 version, and is wicked when dimed. Just crank and enjoy!
