ive been looking for a good left handed guitar for a long time now.I think its been about a year or so since ive been looking.I was really into the washburn idol, untill i tried it out. Then again i wasnt expecting to like a hamer satf, untill i tried it out but it still wasnt my style of guitar,a little too muddy for my liking. What im getting at here is ive been hearing and reading good things about michael kelly guitars.Does anyone on this forum own one?I like the tone alot but whats stopping me from buying one is the pickups.Im not sure if the pickups are entirely to blame.Has anybody taken out the stock pups and can give me an idea if the sound? The reason i ask is i havnt tried one out but have heard them alot on youtube videos.I went to the rockfield website hoping to find out if the sounds are from the pickups but i think all of the recordings were on michael kelly guitars and that defeats the purpose.Any advise would be apreciated.

I'm partial to Gibson Burstbucker Pros for Skynyrd & hard rock,70's stuff.
Dimarzio Super-Distortion in my Mockingbird's bridge-spot is a great sound for everything else.
My PRS is my blues fave. :food-smiley-004:

This is not entirely related to your post, but the Patriot Black sure looks sexy.
