edge 3 trem...

ive noticed that my whammy is very loose, is there any way to tighten it i have an Edge 3 trem... thank you in advance

what do you mean by "loose"? do you mean there's little resistance when you move the bar? that can really only be fixed with more springs, but the ibanez guitars are fairly low tension on the strings, so i don't know if you'd get it to work with more springs..

if, on the other hand, you mean that the bar "flops" around too easily, then you can depress the bridge "dive bomb" style, and there is a threaded set screw that you can tighten to your preference

yes it flops around, and it swings down when i dont grab it...i would like it to stay in place when i leave it. you get me?

yup. then you have to tighten the set screw. you manual will have instructions. if you didn't get the manual, go to ibanez.com, select canada, under "archive" you'll find the 2007 product manual as a pdf. there's a picture of the screw, and instructions for other functions of the bridge and the rest of the guitar.

Yup, you have tighten the screw. If you depress the bar and look under the bridge you'll see it. Should only take about a minute to do:smile:
