Fender ???

Anyone know who the distributor for Fender is in Canada? Or do they just come straight from Fender USA? I have not found any internet reference for a a Fender Canada.

I just wanted to know. I know Yorkville does Gibson in Canada. I wasn't aware any such equivalent for Fender. That might partly explain why Fender prices seemed to drop faster (though still not fast enough) than anyone else when the dollar rose. I just wish they would let us enter their prize contests.

Right now, in Qc at least, price are about 5% more expensive then in the states.

Fender is most definitely handled by FMIC down in Scottsdale, AZ, but it's actually a good thing because if there was a distributor we'd be paying even more since the Distributors would be making a bit as well.

I just bought my Fender Highway One at L & M for the same price it is advertised on at musician's friend and guitar center, $750.

Don't complian fellow Canucks, out here in Europe Fenders, Gibsons and the other big names go for more than you would pay. Last December I bought a Fender MIM Strat for $750 and thats from the authorised dealer where I live.
