Any pedal steel players on here?

Just curious if any other forumites are insane enough to tackle this instrument. Other than Steeler(he plays) and myself(I fumble), that is.

Dont play or own a pedal steel however I love the sound of them...they really make country music sound so much better...When I was young my father used to jam all the time at the house and they had a pedal steel player and I have had the chance to noodle around on one...definately an instrument I would be interested in playing.

I wish...seriously. There's never been any demand for it locally, but as far as I know there's never been any players either. 35 years ago I knew a player who did live TV, mostly country music, and I always dug what Jimmy Page and Jerry Garcia did with it, but Robert Randolph should be getting more exposure now.

Someday maybe.
