Well after trying for a few months to bond with my HWY1 Strat...I realized I am a LP/Gibson guy. The Strat was a great playing and sounding guitar but I could not fully warm to it. So today it is gone and I replaced it with a plank............................................. .......a 03 Gibson Melody Maker in Satin Yellow......great player and the P90 sound is awesome! And the price was very good i think.

I had one of those in cherry red. The one guitar I wish I never sold. I actually prefer them to LP Jr.'s. I love the thin finish and the thin body.

In the short time I have been here, that is the Gibson which appeals to me most, bet you will really enjoy it!

Cool guitar but like someone else said I'm the opposite,I rarely play my LP anymore my strat just feels better to me.I have big hands and I find the strat easier to play.
