What's the deal with this Wii thing? I tried to buy one a couple times at different stores, but they're always sold out. Hasn't Wii been in the market for a year and a half?

They are saying it is still very very popular and outselling both the 360 and PS3 so that may be part of the demand or they are simply holding units back to create a huge demand ?. I found mine on Kijiji.

I had to line up at a Wal-Mart at 6:30 am in a snow storm and run, not walk, to get mine. It was worth every elbow I had to throw and tackle I had to make to get there first. :smile:

I've noticed there's no shortage of douchbags hoarding and scalping them on Ebay for wayyy over retail price...

If it makes you feel any better I'm sure it was his dad who I doubled over with an elbow to the gut during the mad dash to the electronics section at Wal-Mart. kjdr

The problem with the Wi is that Nintendo control the market; they only produce 1,5 millions unit by month, on the other side Xbox produces 10 millions of unit by month! If you ever about the market's law the eqation is simple! But like Iaress said, that worths it! I have one since a month and I really love it! I think I'm still a kid and all the complicated games of the Xbox are not for me! ;)

I got one for my kids for Christmas, I looked for months and as soon as I decided to go for the XBox 360 instead, I noticed them unpacking the Wiis and snagged two of them as my neighbor was looking for one as well. It was like 10:30am a few days before Christmas.

Mine is starting to overheat, so I guess I have to do the waranty return thing...

I had one for a few months, and got pretty tired of it pretty quick.

Sold it to a friend.
