Don't you just love Alex Ovechkin and Carey Price

Just was watching Sports Centre and last nights highlights.
These two kids (22 and 20 year olds repectively) are just incredible.
I am so hoping Washington kicks Phiilys butt in game 7 tomorrow. I have never seen a superstar that enjoys the game so much and shows it on the ice. Must be great to play with a guy like that.
Montreal goes on to the next round on the back of the best young goalie in the game. Looks like the Habs have another Dryden/Roy in that this rookie could take them all the way.

There is great crop of young NHL players that are coming into their own right now. Ovechkin, Price, Crosby (of course), Backstrom, Fluery, Semin, Malkin, Staal (any of them), Stastny, Richards, Carter etc.. etc....

Makes for an exciting next decade in the NHL.......as long as you are not a Leaf fan.

Having been a Habs fan since about 65 it's nice to have a great team to cheer for this year. I hope Price is the next Dryden....but we will have to wait and see. A hot goalie can almost win you the cup on his own.
