My youngest daughter is moving home from college for the summer tomorrow. She is taking Jazz vocals/piano at Malaspina University College, BUT before she comes home, she (piano/vocals) and a girlfriend (guitar/vocals) have a gig at a local lounge there, and our whole clan is going along to support them. The cool thing is that about a week ago, she phoned and asked me if I would like to play a couple of songs with her, and of course I said yes. I asked her what she had in mind, and she said, "How about a couple of Eagles songs?". She's only 19, so I was surprised by her answer, and I got to pick, so it's 'Tequila Sunrise' and 'Peaceful Easy Feeling', I think. I'm going to meet her in the morning, help pack her stuff and then we'll work out an arrangement for the songs and away we go!
