Using the forum's search. Why so retarded?!

Why are so many things omitted from the search results. A lot of us search for smaller words or codes or whatever to find info on certain things and the search just gives you nothing. I tried to do a search for 5881 and it wouldn't let me. Is there any way certain things can be allowed to be searched for if they are "too short"? or can we just bring the character limit down to 3 or 4 so we can search for what we want?

There are not many options to choose from in the control panel. I can either turn the feature on or off. The minimum characters is set at the recommended 5 in order to keep the data base and drag on the server down to a reasonable level. Not much else I can do with it.

Use Google. Just type site:guitarscanada.com/board and it'll restrict the search to only GC's board.
