Hello Canadian guitar forum!(I'm new here) when i play my guitar, a few of the strings give off a buzzing noise(while im unplugged) when i hit an open string, and then sometimes in certain spots along the fretboard. i think my strings are set too close to the fretboard. How would i go about fixing this? would it be best to go to the store where i bought it? and if so, will this cost me a lot of money? thanks.

you should probably take it to the store you bought it at, yes. it may be that the strings are too low, but it's not likely that that's actually the real cause... it shouldn't cost you much money, unless you've had the guitar for a number of years, and have played away a significant of fret (worn them low).. under $50, 9 of 10 ten guitars? you never really know until you look, so i don't want to make any promises, lol.. also, welcome to the forum.
