Warrior basses?

I've just become the owner of a very nice (used) Warrior Dran Michael Signature bass, and I've never played bass before!

Has anybody heard of these basses? Do they have a good rep?

I guess I better learn how to play now!

That's a pretty nice way to start. I've checked their site a number of times and they certainly have some nice looking basses. Pretty $$ as well. I did hear a couple years a few people complaining about some shoddy workmanship on some of the product, but I find that hard to believe for the price they garner.
