extreme makeover

Hello,
i have an old guitar its a renegade.
I want to make an extreme makeover
for the moment i dont really care about the money so just tell me what would be the best for it.
i want to change the pick ups , all the electronics
maybe i will go for a Bigsby.
i would also like to know what kind of paint i should use.
so tell me what would be the best

I can't see anything wrong with the guitar as it is.

A Bigsby would just look silly on a heavey metal guitar, if you ask me.

If you're not happy with the Renegade, why not look into a different guitar, instead of trying to modify this one to become something it's not?

I would paint the body either black or white and leave it at that. That should get rid of the spandex and sweat band look.

Sure, easy job as long as you can solder. Get a mono switchcraft jack (should be available at any music store), and connect it up the same way as the old one.
