Hi folks,

Just noodling around & decided to check the bias on my CS100. It's reading about 26 milliamps. I haven't pulled the chassis to check the plate voltage & crunch the numbers, but even if the tubes are pulling around 500 volts that only works out to about 13w dissipation.

Am I crazy or is that rather cold? I vaguely recall reading somewhere that Traynor biases these really cold from the factory, but I may be imagining that.

I was planning on trying 6L6's in the thing so I'll have to pull the chassis when they show up next week - just too damn lazy to do it tonight.
