The bass forum over there is very cool and informative, but I've had issues with guitar and amp forums. Try to get info for guitarist friends and posts drop like stones over there.
Lots of bashing too. This guy rules, no you suck, this guy rules etc...

What do you guys think to the idea of designing a bulleting to post on our local guitar shop bulletin boards. I told the guys at the new West End Rock Shop in Edmonton that I found out about them on this website. They were surprised, but also really happy the word is getting out about their store so quickly.

On second thought some stores might not be too interested in allowing this type of post on their bulletin boards, especially those with guitar techs who wreck your stuff. ;) Final rant on the subject I promise...

I should think that a decent guitar shop would support this sort of advertisement of our bulletin board. Its fairly reciprocal in terms of good press for the store on the bulletin board.

By the way, I think the guys at WERS have a good customer service policy, including free set-ups for life (unlike the store I used to shop at).

Yeah I came from UG heh, I pretty much only used it for tabs, and random forum cruising, never posted though.
