got a deal on 6 audio linear speakers. they won't work because the jack nuts are missing and the jacks are inside the cabinet. I have 2 different size nuts to fit the jacks but neither will thread on.they took a while to find.
anyone know where I can get the right ones??????
thanks

Dunno. I've never seen an Audio Linear speaker! Much less changed the jack nuts.
Me, I'd just buy some new jacks that will fit in the hole. They're cheap and they come with their own nuts!
Much faster than a Holy Grail search to match the old ones.

And don't forget the locking washers - they prevent this problem and I see alot of people throw them out thinking that they are not needed.

Yes, I thought of going that route but I have 6 speaker units involved that are double jacked and they are also wired into 2 other plugins (I think speakertrons???) and it seems that the easy route would be to screw new nuts on and the job is done, hence the title "frustrated"...lol

spaenaur (http://www.spaenaur.com/) in kitchener will most likely have what you're after, but you'll have to be able to tell them what thread size and pitch you're looking for, which it sounds like you don't know... i think that the easier way will indeed be to replace the jacks. you can order the neutrik ones for a few bucks each, they're as good as any on the market, IMHO.

Ha!
scored some nuts that a buddy had squirreled away (pun intended). fixed all but 1, which the threads had literally fallen off, plastic?? anyway it's too durn cold to test them yet. The last one to do will need new jacks soldered.
2 of the speakers say: 9 - 31 KHC 8ohm 400watt they are basically a tweeter bin, big 15" tweeter. what the heck would anyone do with them??
I'm thinking gut them and make a git. cab.
cheers
