Just a little fooling around...
Rhythm is Strat through a DRRI volume 2
Lead is Strat bridge, Blackstone on red channel gain 1/2 way up, with some DD-3 delay as well. Sort of a Gilmourish thingy...

Sounds great - nice tone on the lead.

I actually owned a DRRI for a while, but I eventually sold it. While I really liked the clean tone, I could never find an overdrive pedal that I liked with it - I always seemed to get the "angry bees in a can" tone. From your sig, it looks like you've changed the speaker on yours - maybe thats the key?

Hey thanks. I did change the speaker in my DRRI. It had a Jensen P12Q that was a nice speaker, but very bright, and little bottom end. The Celestion still has alot of the highs, but adds a nice bottom. I also clipped the bright cap. That's what gives you that "angry bees in a can" sound with pedals.
Clip the bright cap in the vibrato channel and your good to go. I also pulled V1 from the normal channel, so now i only use the vibrato channel, making the amp essentially a one channel amp, and is fuller, louder alot more friendly to pedals.

That is a very, very nice lead sound. Gilmour indeed. And tasty playing as well.

Nice playing.

I love the Blackstone pedal. One of my keepers.
