Looks pretty decent...Not a real big fan of boss effects that much anymore...for some reason they dont sound interesting enough to my ear...thats just me though...they sound kind of old and outdated for some reason.
Remind me not to learn sweep picking...lol...its the flavor of the month right now...i got a kick out of one guy in the demo when he bends the guitar notes he has to make that rock star pose...funny shit.
One of the many reasons I returned to separate effects pedals (from Digitech, Boss, and Zoom stuff) is to get away from little screens and scroll dials. Even with my new bifocals and a magnifying glass those things are hard on the eyes, and I already have to bend over too much as it is, LOL! What I really need is something with a laptop computer like control panel on a stand up at my face and footswitches on the floor. Maybe soon I'll need something to mount on a wheelchair too. Geez, I'm getting old.
It DOES look like a cool piece of gear though.
Peace, Mooh.

they look sweet. the ability to run a guitar rig then a vocal rig into your comp to record is also pretty nifty. other things they've done, the X3 (POD) also does.
i actually watched the video for tihs and the X3 at 3AM this morning lol. i want a multi for a headphone amp, but dont have $300 for a nice used one.
I'd definitely look into it. and yes, the sweeping cracked me up too - but im working on it, cuz it's a handy technique to have.

Dont get me wrong...I think sweep picking is cool however if everyone does it it kind of loses its coolness in a way and it just becomes and endless sea of guitar sweepers...I didnt really think the sweeping was funny although seeing dual sweeping was a bit on the comedy side however what was funny to me was the guy about half way to 3/4 of the way though the demo who kind of did the rock star pose when bending a note.
Anyway the GT 10 looks like a decent unit however I prefer single effect pedals...just stomp and play and at the most turn a dial and or button...nice and easy.
Also the distortion was kind of boring, bland and kind outdated sounding for me...more of an 80's sound...thats just me though...Having said that i would still use a GT 10 if I had it...it would be fun to mess around with and experiment with it.

What I really need is something with a laptop computer like control panel on a stand up at my face and footswitches on the floor.
Native Instruments Gig Rig + Kontrol (http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=guitarrig3&L=1) foot pedal/I/O box.
I use the Gig Rig 2 software at home and it's not bad. Certainly no better or worse than these floor based units or your typical POD or SansAmp box. I find it particularly nice for weird noise stuff. I used one of their strange tremolo patches on this song (http://ian.coastpedalboards.com/sounds/rpm2008/teh-sad-piano-song-wet.mp3). The bleeping guitar is a NIGR2 processed sound. Signal chain was: PRS -> Radial Passive DI -> Mixer -> computer and then NRGR2 running as insert Cubase SX3.
It's nice because all the delays and trems and LFOs in it can be locked to the tempo of the track or set freely. Gives you lots of ways to mess with the sound. I find all their low to medium gain stuff to be quite good. High gain stuff is hard to get a handle on.
iaresee...Interesting, and thanks for the links.
Peace, Mooh.

If anything they should have demonstrated a larger variety of styles , it was kind of lacking that way and set up to be kind of showy ( sweeping and all ) .
The 80's rock sound was impressive , really had the EVH thing happening if you are into that . Some Blues and country demo's should have been part of the demo .
They were probably running through PA gear but they should have show this used through some different amps . The demo should have been much better , it really was lacking a lot .
