hey guys

my hendrix guitar is almost finished. i want to do Jimmy Pages Dragon Guitar. well i dont no anything about telecasters, and wondered whats a good average quality tele i can get for a good price? i dont want to spend more then $300 if possible. i would consider used also.

any help would be great!

I've seen a few used MIM tele's on ebay for around 300. i've seen new ones go for 400 or so too. So if you can increase your budget a bit, you could go that route.:food-smiley-004:

Go to Ring Music in downtown Toronto (or wherever you can find them that's close to your digs) and score a new Vintage Tele. That's the name of the company that makes Fender and Gibson clones - Vintage. I think it's a Vietnamese company. Pretty good bang for your buck and a good starting point for your project. Check out Ring's site (http://ringmusic.com/productlist.php?category_id=4) and scroll down to the Vintages. $319 plus tax.. a little over your budget but not too bad considering.

Agile makes several different models starting at $110 plus shipping.

These guitars get great reviews over at harmony-central.

If you hunt around eBay and the classifieds you'll find an MIM Tele in your price range.
