Repairing a Line 6 delay modeler

I have one of these green delay units that has started to act flaky. Does anyone repair these?

What exactly is messing up on it?

I'm sorry to sound pessimistic, but there was no turning back when my DL4 went flakey. The tech that supposedly knew how to fix these things, didn't, and it was never the same after he tried. He tried to reboot the chip inside, and it sounded like pooh, there on in.
