Just got my first Tele TL52-DMC and I love it, I found it on Ishibashi's u-box $890 shiping inc. and did not have to pay any tax or duty's. Ishibashi clearly stated the 85,500 yen value and that it was a used musical instrument on the way bill, I guess it looked like 85 dollars to customs....lucky me.

I don]t know much about tele's but this one features a huge deep-V neck, not as huge as a 62 hotrod D-neck strat I tried but close. The serial Rxxxxx dates it 2004-2005 and the nitro has started to sink into the wood. The build is top notch as is the wood....the neck is between flat sawn and quater sawn, frets are vintage as is radius.

The pup's sound great with medium output. I highly recommend one. [edit] I have to add this sure seems like a demo I have all the case candy and the are no signs of wear other than very slight buckle rash....weighs 8.5 lbs

Amazing. I have always thought about buying something from the U-box, but never actually don it. Good to hear your experience was good.

WOW!!! I NEED one right now! What is the process to order from u-box? Since I discover that site I almost on it every day! I really want to know how it's work to order from them, if you have drop us a line! :)

It's a really great looking axe! Since I discover the build/sound quality of CIJ, I'm in love with them!

you just email them with the item# and wait for a response, once they respond and the item is still available they will hold it for 24 hours for you to pay.

No taxes or duties. Must have come into Canada on a Friday. Customs guys likely didn't feel like doing the paperwork.

Did they accept Paypal, or it's by credit card?

...blonde and beautiful.

are you keeping the black pickguard?

to my eyes, its too much contrast, and detracks from the natural look.

let us know how she plays.

2006 was the first year the DiMarzio series appeared in the Fender Japan catalogs. They started with those high ends but have since added some less expensive models that don`t have the same features as the top end models. I see tham every time I go into the local shops...very nice guitars. If I didn`t already have a high end Bacchus I`d probably have a FJ DiMarzio.

It plays and sound wonderfull David, I think I'll leave it stock, the guitar will darken with time, pups are Dimarzios, pots are CTS and the switch is 3-way USA....cloth wirring, nothing to change on this axe.
