Anyone out there that can work on these old units? I blew up my XP100 a while back and do not have the technical knowhow to get into it. It's a shame to have to trash it. I think there a few capacitors and such burned out.

IIRC, these units would often overload the output ics and one channel or the other would die. They used an LM386 on each channel to drive the headphones. You could pull it apart and replace them for starters (cheap).

I have a few of the X100 units LP, but the one above is the XP100 which is a kind of boombox configration, built in amp and speakers combining the XPR processor. I also have a very rare XP212 combo. I love Rockman !!

I guess I should read more carefully, I indeed thought you were talking about the X100. My bad:o . I don't think I even have schematics for any Rockman units so helping you could be tough.

I happen to have schematics for the X100 that I got many years ago. Not that they are of any use to me....
