I'm finally (almost) finished tweaking the setup on my old Peavey USA Predator. Over the Christmas break, I got bored and decided it'd be fun to use it as a project.
Here's what it started as:

Pretty standard Strat, eh?
Well, over the past three weeks, I've redone it with: Sperzel locking tuners, GraphTech saddles, Duncan Hot Rails/Duckbucker/JB pickups, and I blocked the bridge (with a big hunk of cherry wood.) Just tweaking the setup on it now. The truss rod was so loose it was fretting out about every note above the 14th fret.
I would've thought that was the end of it. But, I ended up playing a new Epiphone Dot Studio at a music store I was at a few weeks ago. I made the mistake of asking for a quote and availability from the store I work at, and last week, my new baby arrived. It's apparently the last alpine white one in Canada. I'm planning on replacing the bridge pickup with a Duncan Jazz I've got laying around, but the neck sounds fine.
New pics to come later this week!
