Anybody ever pick one of these guitars up.. I was in a music store today and picked up a LP copy they make.. OMG that guitar was heavy.

I thought my Gibson was heavy..This had to weight close to 12 lbs.. or maybe i was just having a weak day.

These Sparrow are coming out of Vancouver.. They bring in guitars from overseas.. tear them down and put in quality parts , plus they do some pin stripping and flames on the front of some models.

I think that will be the downfall of these guitars, Nobody that i know wants a very heavy guitar. Even there hollowbody electrics where on the heavy side.

If you have a chance to try one. tell me what you think.

I've only tried a couple of hollowbodies and one Tele-like axe and they played great, sounded good for the money, but they too were a bit heavy compared to my Dot and actual Telecasters. Cool graphics will sell a few axes for them, as will reasonable prices, but the hardware had better be better than the run-of-the-mill import or that's all they'll be, run-of-the-mill.

I must be getting old because I'm getting tired of the constant stream of "new" guitars which don't improve on existing designs at all, and serve to dilute the pool of guitars available in the market.

Peace, Mooh.

I tried one of the Tele's they make at a local store and the thing weighed a ton. It felt like it was made out of cement. I don't mind a little weight on a guitar, but this was just way to much.

Wow, I love the look of their LP copies from their web site. I'm anxious to try one of these out sometime.
