i am thinkin of getting a guitar for my first time but should i buy 1 with a whammy bar on it??
i am a beginner.

If you're a beginner go for a fixed bridge guitar, less of a hassle to maintain and generally allows for better tuning stability, when you're just starting out you should go for a guitar that you can play and learn on without worry for maintenance.

also, low end guitars with whammy bars go horribly out of tune when you use the whammy even a little bit. That basically means you won't actually be able to use it in a musical way at all. You'll just be able to screw around with it now and again but you won't be able to use it in a song or anything. An ibanez gx20 was my first decent electric and it had a whammy and I took it off and haven't used it since the beginning.

...yup. leave the whammy bar for later on.
it will only serve to make the learning process much more difficult than it needs to be.

Fixed bridge FTW on beginner's models. A Godin Radiator or SD would be a real solid first guitar.
Stay off the Guitar Hero, too. It'll hinder your picking hand coordination.
