Im looking for a tweed soyund from my SunnS100 and Sunn 2X15 cabinet. I am consoidering a pair of Jensen reissue P15n 15" 50 watt Alnico speakers. Weber also makes a clone of the p15N. I might go with old stock jensen P15N's however I do not think they are rated at 50 watts like the reissssues and I do need more powwr handling.
Anyone have any experience with the reissue made in Italy Jensen P15N or weber Clone P15N? Any other P15N clones made? thanks

I've read that the new Jensens are about as much Jensen as the new Ampegs are old Ampeg. Haven't heard them myself, but you will never regret buying Weber.

+1

might be some of the best over-all spkrs I've had: ones I've tried and love:: 12 bluedog ceramics, 15california alnico, p12q ,12scumback h5530 (made by weber to a specific recipe).

I try to mate american toned amps to american toned spkrs, and brit toned amps to brit toned spkrs, but there is also alot of diff. sounds when you mix between the two , very cool if your in the studio.

Another speaker I have heard great things about is the Jensen Neo 15". I have a couple of the 12"s and love them. They kinda get downplayed by 'purists' I find but they are a killer speaker. Sort of parts of alnico and ceramic combined. And they have a huge, tight bottom that I haven't heard in any other speaker.

Speaking of Webers (and Ampegs earlier). I just put a 15" Weber Cali in my 66 Gemini and I am thrilled. They broke it in for me and it kills the eminence it replaced right out of the box. Tight, punchy, perfect for 60s R&B and indie rock. Very happy with Weber.
