I've got a great tube amp that serves my needs ( Carr Slant 6V ) as far as a tube amp goes and I do have a Cube 30 for noodling around on but I would like a transistor amp that has a nice clean and has a few other options . I played and Ultimate or Ultra Chorus some years back and I remember it kind of impressed me plus it worked pretty well with acoustic too .
I see a number of these for sale on the bay but I'm wondering how well they have stood up over the years and if thay are a reliable amp . The Princeton Chorus may be a good choice too .
Some comments and suggestions please . Also...anybody have one available ?

i had one as my main amp for a few years (from 98/99 to 2000/01-ish)
and it was good
totally reliable
for an amp that was a 2x12 it was fairly light weight
you do have a perfectly usable dirty channel if you need it
the only thing i found was that it could get lost in the midst of a full band roaring at good volumes when using the dirty channel
if yer using it fer clean then it cuts through no problems
they're probably low,low priced nowdays

yeah, my friend used one in the band for a year. The cleans were definately ok if thats your taste. You honestly seem like the ideal canditate for one, its just straight up clean and pretty even sounding (read: good for acoustic as well)
He ran it quite hot through the summer for 2 rehearsals a week, they are pretty dependable. Definately get a deal on it though, they arent worth much

I had one for a few years as well and, although I never gigged with it, it was totally reliable and didn't sound too bad either. Then I got into tube amps...but that's another story... They probably can be had pretty cheap these days also.
