If you are going to be down town you might try Songbird. Last I was there they had a bunch of THD ones.

thd 's are a dime a dozen all over usually, try ebay, you could probably mustr a good deal that way, as they are expensive new.
webervst.com makes them as well, Ted Weber is a great spkr/parts source guy. they are called "weber mass" and "mini-mass".
alot of guys seem to be getting into these, also I think in London, there is a tube/attenuator guy.
I found this on tgp, and agree with the advice:
Read all about them here:
http://www.londonpower.com/kits/psbox.htm
and here:
http://www.londonpower.com/books.htm
and here:
http://www.londonpower.com/kits/psk.htm
a quote from TheAmpNerd from tgp:
"In all fairness though, all these kits, parts, etc
are extremely problematic especially for the novice.
AND
If you have a peice of vintage gear, well don't
ruin it or its value by sticking one of these
kits in it.
Moral of the story?
Buy the amp that is right for you.
Different venues may require different amps.
No one amp can do it all."

Wow I had no idea they were in Ontario. Plus, $300 CDN for the Hotplate!!! I can't find one less than $400.
Do you know if they are in Toronto by chance? I need it for Saturday and I think I'm out of time!
Thanks for letting me know

I don't know if you are still looking for one, but I bought a Hotplate last Saturday at the 12fret in Toronto. They still have some and priced cheaper than the Hamilton shop that was mentioned.
L&M had an Airbrake in stock about a week ago. I have one and really like it.
