very cool, I like webers, tell us about which model that is, is that a custom special order ?? or is that in his list of standard offerings ??

so its basically a greenback ?? right ??

It's called the 1225. You can then select the "pre-rola" dopping. Tone wise. Think of Malcolm Young on Jailbreak....

I was thinking of putting that in my Maz Jr., but the Chinese Celestion Greenback in there has broken in nicely and sounds great. I've always been curious how the Weber with the pre-rola treatment would compare. I love the woody, mid heavy tone of my greenback.

Well if it ain't broken..... But i feel the Weber is much richer, smoother that my chinese GB. they are in different cabs in two different locations so i can't do a real AB test

Yep. I'm happy with my tone and not one to toss away money, so I won't bite on the Weber unless I pop the GB or find somewhere else I can use it

thanks el34POWER, great to know, I'm a big fan of weber sprks in general, I didn't know anything about this one ! cool, I had a scumback that went with the cab I was selling, and those are tweaked webbers in the pre-rola vein, awesome when you cranked them, I love that rock-n-roll sound where you can hear the woody gtr midrange"grrrrannnggg".

very cool, I'll have to try those !

I wonder how these compare to the warehouse guitar speaker green beret's. I definitely notice the difference in my greenies a year later now that they are breaking in.. smoothing out. I might be in the market to get two more to replace the sammi 50 watters as i find them a tad "soft" now through the mic's though i have not had them as long.
