I built one of the Trinity 18 watt sIII Marshall clones last year, as well as the original Trinity 15 which has become my main amp.

I will be building one of the two channel 15's in a few months , but I just ordered the 5E3 Deluxe kit for something different. Heard some clips and thought it sounded really nice - and is a simple amp, should be quick to put together.

Its funny, Trinity is right here in Ontario - and has some killer amps (and kits) for a decent price but not too much is spoken about them. Too bad, some of you guys looking at kits should check them out!

The 5E3 Deluxe should be sweet! I can smell the solder already.. :)

I've been thinking about building a Deluxe kit, thanks for the heads up.

As the owner of the first ever Trinity 5E3 kit, I say welcome to the club. It has become my main amp. It's got enough ooomph to play clean in a 17 piece big band, and in a 10 piece horn band that plays Tamla/Motown/Stax/Volt R&B material.

It also has the tone and touch to sound very nice in small group jazz. Apparently Neil Young likes the 5E3 too.

I only wish it had a tremelo. I really like the tremelo on my Victoria Victorilux, and would love a trem in my 5E3.

I'm sure you've read the thread, but this one is mine:

Yes, That thread on the Trinity forum is excellent - thanks!

I listened to a bunch of clips and man it sounds great...
